Job stress is the source of more health complaints than financial or family problems and healthcare expenditures are 50% greater for workers who report high levels of stress. Replacing an average employee costs 120-200% of the salary of the position affected.

Company X has recently reported a 15% increase in employee turnover due to stress.

Company X’s goal is for learners to be able to recognize workplace stressors and assist employees in reducing workplace stress in order to reduce the employee turnover rate to 5% or less in a 12 month time period.

Business Purpose: Retail Company Y’s recent customer service surveys have indicated that dressing room associates are not friendly. The Company’s Loss Prevention department has reported an increase in theft from the dressing rooms. The purpose of this training is to ensure the associates are creating positive customer service experiences while following a workflow that assists with loss prevention. Over the course of 3 months after training customer service surveys will demonstrate an increase of 10% in dressing room associate friendliness. Quarterly loss prevention reports will demonstrate a 30% reduction in theft from dressing rooms after training.
